We are a local charity [Charity No: 1060095] based in Warrington in the North West of England. We were first established in 1996. SPARC serves people with Learning Disabilities and their parents and carers. Our main service at the present time is job coaching. We are also campaigning to develop a new Independent Travel Training service and "SPARC Active" healthy lifestyles club for people with learning disabilities.
People with Learning Disabilities are amongst the most disadvantaged in society:
People with learning disablities are often forced to lead "hidden lives" in the community. SPARC is commited to challenging this problem with better services.

• 70% have poor health and 30% have associated mental health problems like depression and anxiety.

Recent research shows worrying increases in health equalities and hate crime against people with disabilities.
